Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the EZ-Close platform and website (the "Service"). It is part of the Terms of Service. We may update this AUP from time to time; the current version is always available at this URL.
You Must Not
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation, including consumer protection, fair lending, anti-money-laundering, privacy, and securities laws.
- Upload, store, or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or that infringes any intellectual-property right.
- Send unsolicited bulk or commercial email, "spam," or any communication that violates the CAN-SPAM Act or analogous jurisdiction-specific regulations.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity, including impersonating another user or falsifying your role on a deal.
- Use the Service to interfere with, distribute, or facilitate fraudulent transactions, including but not limited to wire fraud, identity theft, or fraudulent earnest-money requests.
- Attempt to access, scan, probe, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system or network without EZ-Close's express written permission.
- Introduce viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, or any other malicious code into the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service except to the extent applicable law permits.
- Use the Service to harvest, scrape, or otherwise collect data about other users for purposes outside the legitimate scope of a transaction in which you are a party.
- Use the Service to send, receive, or store any data unrelated to the legitimate operation of a real-estate transaction in which you are a party.
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or discriminate against any other user.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially redistribute access to the Service without EZ-Close's prior written consent.
Email Sent by EZ-Close
EZ-Close sends transactional email to recipients who have either signed up for an account or been explicitly invited by an authorized user of the Service. We do not send marketing email to recipients who did not sign up to receive it. Every message includes an unsubscribe mechanism for optional notification categories.
Reporting Abuse
Believe someone is using the Service in a way that violates this AUP? Email abuse@ezclose.co with as much detail as you can. We will investigate and respond promptly.
Security Reports
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in the Service, please report it to security@ezclose.co. We appreciate responsible disclosure and will work with you to understand and resolve the issue.
Enforcement
Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Service, removal of offending content, and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement. We may take any action we consider reasonable to protect the Service and our users.
